Mikey Ryans

Mikey Ryan's Bar and kitchen is a newly re-opened bar & kitchen in the medieval town of Cashel Co. Tipperary. It is only a short distance from both Cashel Palace hotel (due to open in 2019) and the historic Rock of Cashel.

The bar itself is small and cosy with an intimate snug just inside the main entrance door, ideal for the winter months ahead. The Restaurant can be accessed through the bar or via a narrow corridor which opens up to the light and spacious large dining area to the rear, the Kitchen Pass is in full view to the customer which gives a unique dining experience.

Leinster Stone were commissioned by Mulcahy Construction Ltd to source, manufacture and fit the bespoke stone countertops throughout the impressive venue including the main bar, waiter stations in the restaurant and kitchen pass area. The results speak for themselves once you have visited the premises. The Architect Garry Meakins from Sims Hilditch requested a textured finish to the Bar & countertops. Also on view in the images is the beautiful fossiled Kilkenny limestone tiling which is a material we work a lot with.

Material used: Nero Assoluto flamed and brushed granite sourced exclusively in Italy for this project. Honed Kilkenny limestone tiling.
