OSLO Ranelagh

This is the second OSLO premises we have worked on. It was opened in Ranelagh earlier this year after the success of their flagship Mespil road beauty salon.

The brief for architect Lenzie O'Sullivan and contractors CRM fitouts (http://crmfitouts.ie) was to transform a dated and undistinguished shell into a stylish unisex salon. The key to this successful approach was through the Architect’s clear detailing of the chosen materials palette to ensure that they expressed the requested ambience.

Technical aspects of successful treatment/retail spaces; addressing sound, comfort, odours, texture and lighting were addressed in a subtle manner by the use of matt oak-framed partitions, to compliment our polished carrara furniture and signage, specially commissioned fabric wall tapestries, extensive concealed lighting, mosaic-artist signage, invisible services and external oak signage. The striking bespoke freestanding oak and carrara furniture was designed to both technically and ergonomically enhance the treatments offered.

Mikey Ryans

Mikey Ryan's Bar and kitchen is a newly re-opened bar & kitchen in the medieval town of Cashel Co. Tipperary. It is only a short distance from both Cashel Palace hotel (due to open in 2019) and the historic Rock of Cashel.

The bar itself is small and cosy with an intimate snug just inside the main entrance door, ideal for the winter months ahead. The Restaurant can be accessed through the bar or via a narrow corridor which opens up to the light and spacious large dining area to the rear, the Kitchen Pass is in full view to the customer which gives a unique dining experience.

Leinster Stone were commissioned by Mulcahy Construction Ltd to source, manufacture and fit the bespoke stone countertops throughout the impressive venue including the main bar, waiter stations in the restaurant and kitchen pass area. The results speak for themselves once you have visited the premises. The Architect Garry Meakins from Sims Hilditch requested a textured finish to the Bar & countertops. Also on view in the images is the beautiful fossiled Kilkenny limestone tiling which is a material we work a lot with.

Material used: Nero Assoluto flamed and brushed granite sourced exclusively in Italy for this project. Honed Kilkenny limestone tiling.

Irish Limestone Conservatory

We are currently working on a limestone extension to an old rectory building. This is the kind of exterior work that allows us to truly show off abilities. Due to Leinster Stone being the largest fabricator of Irish limestone outside the quarries themselves, we are in a position to demand better quality than our competitors.
